Families of Irondequoit Little League,

We are saddened by the need to inform you of our decision to cancel the 2020 spring/summer season for IRLL.

After many hours of discussion, and the continued uncertainty of COVID-19, we came to the unfortunate realization that continuing with a season could potentially put everyone at risk.  In addition to concerns about the virus, we are also faced with limited availability of fields due to school closures.  At this time there would be no viable way to comply with safety guidelines Little League International has set forth including the safe distancing between players, coaches, and families.  We have always striven to ensure that the health and safety of our players, as well as their families, is at the forefront of everything we do.

At this time all programs at the district level have also been canceled. This includes the inter-town (travel) program. It is still too soon to tell if there will be a fall ball program offered this September. We will continue to update everyone on the possibility of playing in the fall.

Full refunds will be issued in the next 2-3 weeks.
